Different Cards – Same Gateway

    Is there any mileage in this option.

    Using woocommerce and canvas theme

    I am using a payment gateway.
    Credit cards – certain % fee
    Debit Cards – fixed fee

    Would it be possible to have an option to apply different card fees but on the same gateway – and identify card type at checkout 0 within the selected payment option?

    I know ultimately this is up to the purchaser which card they use when redirected to the actual payment page – but it would be a great refinement within the checkout page!

    Hello paulcobb, this is a good idea, but i do not know if it is really possible.
    There are so much plugins for credit cards that it’s impossible to get it working with all of them.

    However i’ll check if it is possible someway!

    I would be interested in following this up.
    I’m sure it must be possible to be able to select a final setting from a couple of options – but my skill is not writing plugins!
    Keep me posted on delelopments please.
