Different color text area

  • Hi there,

    I am making a site for a customer of mine. For this I am considering purchasing the Vantage premium theme. I am remaking his old site in WordPress, with the Vantage theme.

    Now his old site has a white area where the main text is: https://www.vanbaarenadvocatuur.nl. I am trying to recreate this in Vantage, but I can’t seem to make it work. When I color the background, the area behind the text comes with it. I would also like to have some padding of course.

    Anyone know how to fix this? Help would be much appreciated.
