Hi guys, I would like to ask if it’s possible (and how) to have a different confirmation email per subscription form. I have a bilingual site and I’m using two different subscription forms, one for each language (each language stores subscribers in different lists); but both forms send the same email (in a single language). I would like somehow to send a different confirmation email per subscription form (aka language) and obviously the click will redirect to a different landing page (different per language).

Is it doable? Thank you in advance. Kind regards,
    Stratos

  • Hi Stratos, unfortunately, that’s not possible at all. We suggest you write the confirmation email in the 2 languages your website uses.
    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hmmm… thank you! I’ll see what I can do regarding this part.

    Could the following scenario work?

    – Disable signup confirmation
    – Hook subscription process in order to create the new subscriber as “pending”
    – Create an automatic newsletter as “welcome” including a custom activation link (different per language)
    – As soon as the user clicks on the custom activation link, then a backend process will “activate” the subscriber (therefore an automatic welcome email will be sent) and will redirect to the relative page (depending on the preselected language)

Would this work? I think that I’ll give it a try tonight, to see how it will go.

    I’ll update the topic.

Thank you in advance. Kind regards,
    Stratos
