Different confirmation emails for different lists

It is not currently possible to specify a custom confirmation email for each individual mailing list. I’m adding this to our development list so that we can make it possible asap.

I’m migrating lists from PHPlist and mailchimp. There are a few things that can be customized separately list in both PHPlist and mailchimp these that would be great to see in your plugin. They are:

1. User email templates (confirmation and unsubscribe most importantly, but would be great to have separate templates for each list for the posts email, latest posts email etc. too). Could you move “Email templates” out of “Configuration” and make it a separate menu item? Inside of that menu item there could be the option to set the templates separately for each list.

2. Per-list subscribe forms. Instead of having one “Default subscribe form” setting, you could use a separate menu item for “Subscribe forms” where the form for each list could be customised. Right now I have to use a javascript hack to change the button text for different forms, for example.

We’ve added the first suggestion to our development list so that we can add that to the plugin.

The second suggestion is something that we’re currently working on and it will actually be even more flexible than that. It will give you a menu item “Subscribe Forms” like you mentioned where you can attach a list or multiple lists, change the look/feel of the form and also drag/drop fields onto the form as needed and then use that form somewhere in a post/page, widget, etc. as needed.

We’re hoping to make the plugin more and more powerful with time.

Great, we’ll be working on these requests.

In the meanwhile we did release version 4.4.5 of the Newsletter plugin but it doesn’t include the things you asked for. It was an update that we were already working on and needed to get out due to a bug with the latest posts subscriptions.
