Different download methods for Digital products

    Is it possible to set different downloadable products with different download methods? Because I need a few products to be served as ‘redirect only’ but the default settings is set as ‘force downloads’. I need ‘force download’ option for all my other products but only a few extra big ones need to be redirected.

    Hi there,

    Unfortunately not – download methods are set on a site-wide basis rather than on a per-product or per-download basis.

    There are some extensions (e.g. https://woocommerce.com/products/amazon-s3-storage/) that disregard the download method in WooCommerce core because files are hosted off-site. I’m not sure if that’s feasible for your setup but it’s worth considering nonetheless ??

    I would like to just redirect very very large files because my server is not capable of storing it :/
