    Hello

I’m new to this so would be very grateful if someone could post a simple explanation of how to have a different header image on just one static page in twentyten. Please don’t point me at the Codex, it’s beyond my meagre understanding… Thank you, merci, diolch yn fawr.

Make a post. Upload an image large enough to be the header. Set that image as featured. Magic happens.

Thanks for the reply but there’s a couple of issues… by make a post do you mean write an article or create a new page? (The page I’m trying to change will not contain any posts). When I set the new image as featured, it appears on all my pages.

    FYI for the next person

Post == new article (blog post)
Page == new static page (about page)

(The page I’m trying to change will not contain any posts)

So then it’s a static page ?? Same idea, really. You make the image featured for that one page (or post) and it’s ONLY for that post. It should not appear on ALL pages, though.
