Different Image Gallery for Each Product Variation

  • Is it possible to have a different gallery for each product variation? I want to have 4 images for one variation and 4 different images for the second variation.

    I’ve found the following plugins, but reviewers say they either don’t work with WooCommerce 2.0 or they just plain don’t work:

    Has anyone else achieved a different gallery for a specific product variation? (Because of attribute selection, I can’t use a “grouped product” in this scenario, however a grouped, variable product would be perfect – if it existed.)

    My plugin is now compatible with WooCommerce 2.0 (Multiple Images per Variation for WooCommerce).

    I have a webshop with medical bags. I have f.e. 1 bag model, available in 8 colors. Do I need to make 8 different products or can I work with variations?

    Hi Fred,

    You can use 1 product with 8 variations. However, please be aware that you only need one of the aforementioned plugins if you want to show more than one image for each variation!

    Hi James,

    i bought your plugin, but now i have one problem.

    I have one product with variations where your plugin works fine. All the other products have only one image. Your plugin seems to overwrite generally the Woocommerce single image even if I do not have a variation (ends up in one image with the same image under it as thumbnail).

    Is there a way to turn your plugin off, when not needed?

    Ok. I worked with your plugin a bit more. I basicly have one question: How can i hide the thumbnail if the only is one image?

    i didn’t know that since the plugin developer was posting here 11 months ago and there seems to be no forum for this plugin as such.

    But maybe you can help me. Is there a way to get more than one image per product variation in Woocommerce than with the help of a commercial plugin?

    Hi JPOG,

    There’s a comment thread on codecanyon for the plugin. The plugin automatically hides the thumbnail if there’s only one image.
