Different interpretation using Chrome and IE browsers

  • I’ve started to put together a site using the WP-Andreas01 v3.0b theme.

    Viewing the home page in Chrome is fine, but with IE8 there are several errors (?) appearing:

    <!–[if !supportLists]–>· <!–[endif]–>
    and
    <!–[if !supportEmptyParas]–> <!–[endif]–>

    Could anyone please explain what I’m doing wrong?

    Looking at previous postings, no, as far as I know this hasn’t been taken from a Word document, but maybe I’m wrong.
