Different locations/instructors of the event

    Hello,

    I have a quick question about current (with some additional plugin maybe) or future possibility to add info about place and instructor to the particular event? I have a lot of activities in different places teaching by different people and I need to add this information in my calendar

    Hello,

    If you just need to display the place and the instructor name in the event title, then you can simply edit the event title in its settings (or create one activity per place and per instructor, with a relevant title).

    Would it be enough to solve your issue? Else, can you describe your needs more specifically?

    Hello Yoan,

    I would require this feature as I have the same situation. I have the same activity but in different locations. Each location has different details (e.g. a meeting place). I would like the customer to view all activities on one calendar booking form on a WooCommerce product page and be able to view the location it takes place. Editing the relevant activity title is fine but what would be really good is a description box as we can include specific details that relate to each location.

    Hello Chris,

    If I understand correctly, you would like to be able to set a custom HTML message for each event. And when you mouse over the event, or when you click it, the HTML message appears in a tooltip or below the calendar?

    Because, this feature is planned in the Display Pack add-on development schedule. It may take some time to be developed though, since some highly requested features are being developped first.

    Moreover, there will be a limitation, the recurring events share the same settings. It won’t be possible to set a specific message for each occurences, or it has to be different events.

    Yes that is correct. A custom HTML message for each event that would display as a tooltip or just below the calendar or both would in fact be great.

    It would make sense for the recurring events to hold the same message so I agree with your response.

    I’ve now got the Display Pack add-on so hopefully it won’t be too long to wait.
