Different looks in the ‘Add new Post’ area
-
I posted some screenshots and a brief description of my issues here (please read so the following makes sense):
https://timgonzogordon.com/?p=192
In a nutshell, both installations of WordPress on two different websites are identical. On one I’m able to use the ‘visual’ version to create a post, complete with photos, etc. The other one does not allow that.
I’ve tried to troubleshoot it and this morning I experimented with putting a new installation of WordPress at timgonzogordon.com/blog. Everything went fine and worked properly until I restored the database from my older WordPress installation at timgonzogordon.com. I realized that all of the information in the database included passwords, etc., but what I can’t figure out is why the database would include information that would prevent me from creating a post using the ‘visual’ option.
Any help or suggestions on what I might do in restoring my database (what to include, what not to include) that would solve this would be appreciated.
