• Is there any chance that in each wordpress page we have a box where we can add one simple menu with some items, it will be just a list of prices.

What i’m looking for is that each page of my wordpress is a Bar, and i want to add the Drinks in a menu for each Bar, but i want it directly from the Edit page of the bar, so i can restrict who edit that page so each owner can edit all his info from his and only his page on wordpress as a role of author.

    Thanks.

    Hi cien,

Unfortunately, you cannot restrict admin access to specific menus to specific users. i.e. You cannot have one user be able to only edit menu A and another user only able to edit menu B. Anyone who is an administrator user will have access to all of the menus in the admin panel. You could, of course, use a plugin like Adminimize to block certain users from certain parts of the admin panel, but, again, this would not allow you to grant access to only specific menus.

That being said, both the menus and menu items are created using a custom post type. If there exists a plugin/tool out there that allows you to restrict access to only certain posts for a user (similar to how, with regular posts, you can have a user role that only has access to their posts), then perhaps it may be possible for you to create all the menus as the admin and then assign access to the posts as required. I have no clue if such a plugin exists. I’m just mentioning that, if it did, it may work to do what you want. If you happen to find something like that, then please feel free to share it with us here.
