Different order completed emails (physical products, digital products)

    Hi there,

    we are looking for a way to send different order completed emails based on the product type (physical products / digital products). So if a customer buys a physical product, the order completed email should have some information about shipping (for instance) while a customer who buys a digital product should receive an order completed email with different information.

    Hi @psorn,

    Good question! It seems that the best solution would be creating custom new order emails so that you can have two separate email notifications.

    Searching around I didn’t find a plugin that could help with this. I came across this tutorial though that explains how to add and send custom WooCommerce emails and it has been tested to work with WooCommerce 3.0+.
