Different output between plugin output, widget and template function

    My website is all Pages, not Posts.
    I do have some Posts in my post list but they are all set to “Draft”.

    On a given single page:

    If you enable the plugin itself to place Related posts at the bottom of a page, or use the widget, these both show related Pages, not posts. This is fine, this is what I want.

    If you use the plugin’s function in a page template, then it shows Posts, not Pages, and those Posts are marked as drafts in my Posts list, so they should not be shown.
