    Hi All

Wonder if anyone can help with this scenario.

I’ve got a product with some variations. Let’s say it’s an ornamental figure holding various tools.

I can of course create a different product for each one but I’d like to be able to create a single item, with a drop down for the different tools.

That I can do fine, I can put all the images in and have the main product image + several in the gallery but what I’d like to happen is when a customer selects each tool from the drop down that the main product image changes to better showcase the detail of the one they’ve selected. (Soem of the differences are subtle so it should reduce returns if I can do this)

    Any ideas?

You can already, just simply create the attribute for the different options, then update the product, then go back in to variations and when you select a variation, you get the option to add an image for that variation, its very good feature, on the front end the user will be presented with the image that relates to their choice etc
