  • You have a couple of options:

    1. Create a different registration page for each form, then generate the shortcode for the relevant form and post it on the appropriate page; or

    2. Create a drop-down list of the alternative options on just one page. You need to look at the “checkout options” section in the Pro forms back-end to see how to do this.

Thanks – I need to be a bit more specific.

I would like different forms for each level.

I am unable to figure out where/how to create different registration forms and generate the resulting shortcode.

Are you using PayPal or Stripe, or a different payment processor?

    Paypal. Sort of.

All membership levels are free. I’m following the method in this video:

    https://www.s2member.com/videos/330982E83739ABDF/

OK. This is how to do it:

    1. Create the page where you want to put the registration forms.
    2. Create the shortcode for one of your levels following the video. Copy the generated shortcode into the page.
    3. Repeat (2) for each level.
    4. Go to the last section on the PayPal Pro Forms back-end, and follow the instructions for “checkout options.”

    Do you mean

PayPal Pro-Forms -> Wrapping Multiple Shortcodes as ‘Checkout Options’

or am I in the wrong place.

    That’s the right place!

Okay, so I’m dense. I have no idea how this helps.

Maybe I’m not being clear in my question. Let me attempt more detail.

    I go to

general options -> registration/profile fields and options

I say I want “your favourite colour” to be a required field. I want this required for level 1 only. I create this.

Now I want to create a different registration form and have “your favourite animal” be a required field. I don’t want favourite colour on that form and this is only for level 2.

How do I create multiple registration forms? I think I have to start there before I can point different registration links to the different forms.

OK, so what you’re asking now is different.

What you wanted before was different forms for different levels, and I answered that.

What you are asking for now is different fields in different forms. That’s a whole new ball game.

I’d suggest you start a new thread for that question. I think that might need some custom coding anyway, and you’ll need to attract the attention of someone who could do that (because it isn’t me).

    Hi Skippy,
Maybe this will help, although it’s available only in the premium version.
You can use Profile Builder for setting up multiple registration forms, and S2 member for creating the user roles and processing the payments.

Hi all. Late response here but none the less…

The answer is that apply different fields to different membership levels is already built in. I just had to dig deeper and learn more about what s2member does and how it works.
