    Hi all,

    Quick question (I hope).

I have different products in my store from small to big. From a large amount of palets to maybe one single box.

What I want (for most products) when the amount of products increase the shippingcosts are getting lower. But when the amount of product are not just a few boxes anymore but a palatte of products then the shipping price should also differs and increase or decrease in prize. And with the maximum amount maybe zero shippingcosts.

But there are some products (big products like a car-trailer) which always has shippingcost no matter what and are coming near the other shippingprices if there are any.

Is there a plugin, or can this be done in Woocommerce?

    Hi @teachermark,

For calculating shipping costs based on such rules (with several conditions), I could recommend using plugins such as:

    Hi,

We’ve not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. Hopefully, the above recommendations were useful and you were able to find a solution to your problem!

If you have further questions, please feel free to open a new topic.

    Thanks.

This does not fix te problem. I want to set different shipping-costs for different products. But when it’s a certain amount of products the plugin should be that smart that when it reaches that amount it should convert the shippingcosts to the cost off a pallete. But when people order more than will fit on one pallete the plugin should also be that smart to say okey, that item does not fit on the palette and we ship this item near the palette with the standard shipping price.

@teachermark, thanks for getting back and giving further elaboration.

Charging the items per pallete/box used might require a plugin such as Flat Rate Box shipping. However, there’s a section in the scenario you’ve mentioned that might also require some custom coding.

For now, to check if the plugin covers what you’re looking for:

    • Start by checking the documentation -https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/flat-rate-box-shipping/
    • To take the discussion further, we’ll need to move it away from the forums. Therefore, create a pre-sales ticket via WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create or login to your WooCommerce account before you can access that page.

Please do not set this topic on ‘Solved’ because it’s not. I said earlier that this plugin is not what we are looking for so I am hoping on other reactions.

    Kind regards,

    Mark

    Thanks for getting back @teachermark.

Did you get a chance to look at the Flat Rate Box shipping shared previously? It was not among the plugins shared earlier.

Also, note that some functionalities might not be exactly served by a plugin. Therefore, in the event that what you’re looking for is not currently offered in existing plugins, we normally recommend getting in touch with a developer or the WooCommerce customizations experts to make a custom-coded solution for you.

We’ll leave the thread open for some time to allow others to comment.

Just to mention, we set a thread as resolved for various reasons as discussed in the forum guidelines: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/guide-to-the-woocommerce-forum/

@teachermark, just a heads up, since we’ve not heard back from you or received insights from others in a while, I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved, as explained in the WooCommerce forum guidelines.

Hopefully, the above info was useful. Please feel free to open a new thread if you have more questions.
