Different sidebar for different pages

    Suppose I have a sidebar navigation menu named ‘sidebar-main’, which is default sidebar-menu for my website.
    And sidebar-main has the following items:
    About
    STAFF
    …
    ..
    I also have a menu named as ‘sidebar-alternative’, which displays:
    Mission
    Program
    ……
    …
    I also have an alternative page template called new.php.
    All I want to do is to show ‘sidebar-alternative’ on some pages(which use new.php template).

    what should I do to make this happen?
