different site url and wordpress address – login problems

Hi there,

My wordpress install was located at a subdomain of the domain playtoyboutique.com.au and because we are changing the name of the business, I bought a new domain: littlesnail.com.au

The host pointed this domain (littlesnail) to the directory where the wordpress site is built (playtoyboutique). I moved the wordpress site to the root folder of this domain and changed the home url to littlesnail.com.au and updated the permalinks.

This worked beautifully. Now the site is visible at littlesnail.com.au and all the sub pages work with it. However, I am not able to login to littlesnail.com.au/wp-admin and the login redirects to playtoyboutique.com.au/wordpress/wp-admin presumably because that is where the wordpress installation lives.

I want to be able to remove the playtoyboutique domain so that we don’t have to pay for it, and because it confuses the issue.

My host support person said he is not sure why it is doing this, but he thinks it is something to do with the wordpress configuration.

Can anyone help me to get the wp-admin active on the little snail domain (possibly without moving the site to a new directory?)
