Different slider ratio for landscape screens

Problem – when using advanced gallery as a single image slider the image is too big on a landscape device -(desktop computers). Is there a way to have bespoke image ratios for landscape screens. So I could set the aspect ratio for portrait mobiles and tablets to square 1.1 but use a ration of 5:2 on landscape screens.
Another issue is when the aspect ratio is changed it crops the image but I have no control of the crop area like you get with a background image in a row block.
