different template on homepage?

    ah thank you sir. i will investigate this.
    i also read somewhere that this will be an option in wp1.3?

    wow, this was easier then i thought it was.
    here’s how i did it:
    in root put index.php and template.php
    – index.php is a customized homepage with a few wp tags
    – template.php is the actualy blog template
    enable permalinks
    in .htaccess replace index.php with template.php
    done.
