Hello everyone. Thanks for the plugin, it’s great and above all stable!

I installed the free plugin on two websites (https://fauxpas-blog.com & https://klaus-wilde.ch) and, although both settings are exactly the same, there is a difference in the Show button on the desktop. (screenshots)

    Social-Media-Button2.png

The social media buttons are different on both websites. I have tried a variety of settings without success. Is this a CSS problem or what can I do?

N.b: Everything is right on the smartphone!

Thanks for an answer. Klaus Wilde

    Hi @klwild ,

Thank you for reaching out! You mean that the icons are different in terms of placement? If that’s the case, I believe it’s regarding the “margins” of both sites and where the plugin deems the edge of the main page is, to the left. Can be fixed via CSS but we also offer a simpler solution.

Please navigate to section #3 on the plugin page and under the Floating display option, you should see the margins section here: https://monosnap.com/file/jplkOVffW64bgoUzTBB7hsZg2cGAuv

There, you can manually set the margins up and click on Save to see the effects. Does that work?

    Thanks for the answer @efedinler1

Not resolved as requested. The icons should “ONLY” be displayed under a post. Floating means they will be on the entire website.

Can it be a WordPress Problem?

    Hi @klwild ,

I see, it can be a cache related issue as well. After you turn off the “Floating” option and Save, could you kindly clear the cache on your site, then check again? It should be removed afterwards.

    Thanks @efedinler1

I did everything but no changes.

Could this be a WordPress problem?

Because the plugin is otherwise very stable and works well.

    Hi @klwild ,

I see, please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. So the “Floating Icons” display option is not being removed, correct? If that’s the case, could you kindly contact us via help (at) ultimatelysocial (dot) com? We would like to investigate with our development team.

    Thank you!

    (@klwild)

    No that is not correct!

    Floating buttons are removed.

    Is there a CSS option.

    Hi @klwild ,

I see, but I fail to follow the main issue. Let’s take it from the top:

You mentioned that the icons should only show up under the posts. I’m seeing that they are showing up in both sites in a few example blog posts I checked.

Is the problem only consisting the alignment of these icons? Please confirm, and we can provide a CSS option to resolve it. Thank you! ??

    (@klwild)

Yes. That’s right: “Is the problem just the alignment of these symbols?”

    It’s just the alignment!

    Please provide a CSS code.
