Hi there, I have a website that has a theme, but has different catergories.

So lets use football as an example.

The theme of the website would be football, but if you were on the arsenal section it would show a advert related to arsenal and if you were on the Manchester united section, then would be an advert related to manchester united and the manchester united viewers wouldn’t see the advert the arsenal viewers are seeing.

I know I can use a widget to just paste in the HTML into a widget and move the widget onto the side bar, but does this plug in allow me to keep my side bar as it is, but change one widget depending on the catergory.

If it does allow this, how do I do this?

Sorry if this question is too stupid!

It’s ok, I have worked it out.

You have to create a sidebar with the specified rules, then “merge” it with the right sidebar, choosing if you want it to be at the top or the bottom of the right sidebar. Then you go to appearance > widgets and add the widget to the newly created sidebar.
