difficulties with encoding ??ü

    I am using cf7 on my website to send request to my redmine helpdesk.

    It is working, but if someone is using in his/her name ??ü an error appear in redmine.

    [ERROR] - 24 Feb 22:04 - : failed to create Contact: no FROM address found
[ERROR] - 24 Feb 22:04 - : could not create/found contact for []

    What is strange: If I send such an email with ??ü from a normal emailaccount, it is accepted by my redmine helpdesk.

    If I send such an email via cf7 to a normal email account it is also going through.

    Just cf7 and redmine can’t work together.

    Maybe it is important: wordpress has mariadb with utf8mb and redmine still mysql utf8_general_ci
