• Since the 6th of May I have been having difficulty editing one of the pages (news page) on the company’s website I work for. The website is https://www.anedng.com. When I try to edit the page and click on update I get either of the errors below:

    The https://www.anedng.com page isn’t working
    https://www.anedng.com didn’t send any data.
    ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

    This site can’t be reached
    The connection was reset.
    Try:
    Reloading the page
    Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
    ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

Also there are times when I click on Edit Text block for this same page so I can make updates it just stalls.

I am not sure why this is the case because it has been working fine since February up until May. I can edit every other page on the website. It’s just this one page.

I contacted Godaddy which is where the website is hosted and there was no problem from their end. I also had the person who originally designed the website try to edit the News page and he is also getting the same errors.

Here is the link to the page: https://www.anedng.com/news/

I will appreciate any help or direction to the right path.

    Thanks

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
