Difficulty in installation

  • I need help asap please, this is my first time of trying to use wordpress i tried installing it but it comes up with codes like this: <meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=utf-8″ />

    And I have XAMPP installed on my system already.

    For WordPress installation requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off and that’s why you face this issue.

    Contact your hosts. It’s a server issue.

    @kacomp, yea i got skype running on my system will try switching it off and see if its gonna work. tnx
