Difficulty inserting photo gallery using blocks

    Since the switch to blocks, I’ve been unable to find a reliable way to INSERT a photo gallery to a new page. I usually stumble around switching between Visual mode and Code mode, Document and Block and I can eventually find the right combination of settings to insert and image or HTML but for some reason I can NOT find how to INSERT a Photo Gallery. Please tell me how to find that combination of settings. Thanks

    The link is to the website but my question is more of a general nature. Until the switch to Blocks, I had no problem inserting Galleries but now I don’t know where to look for the option to Insert them.

    Having the same issue with Gutenberg Editor. I want to use the default gallery interface to easily select my images, and then use this great-looking plugin to make it look nice and add a lightbox.

    When I use the [gallery] shortcode and associated attributes it works as expected. If I don’t, the gallery block displays as if this plugin wasn’t installed.

    Is this plugin designed to work with blocks?

    Thanks for your reply Kim. As far as I know, I’m just using WordPress to insert my Photo Galleries. How would I know if I’m using something else. (I inherited this job from someone else so I’m not entirely certain how it was originally set up.)
