I have been having difficulty testing the efficacy of the plugin. I open a new incognito window, go to the site, and submit a request to sign up to the blog. I use an email address that is NOT the same as the administrator. I then receive the confirmation email, and reply to it with the required “agree” message. Then…nothing. I don’t receive a confirmation email saying I have been added to the subscription list, and the requesting user is not added to the list of WordPress Users in the back end. The site is highhopesfoundation.org.

    Hey There,

We had a blip in service this morning which we are still investigating. I see your reply sitting in the queue. The confirmation should be to you soon. Sorry for the delay.

PS – For best service please submit tickets to [email protected].

    Best,
    Jason

I just received THREE confirmation emails sent to the same address — which could be rather confusing/annoying to a casual user, and may cause them to unsubscribe.

By the way, I understand the reasons for having a separate support forum outside of www.ads-software.com, but then other people who want to see the support history — if they are investigating the possibility of using the plugin, or attempting to research a problem they are having — lose all visibility to that information.

    Good morning.

You received three confirmation emails because you confirmed three times. Normally you would only confirm once but because we had a brief outage this morning you did it multiple times.

We resend the confirmation email for each time you reply under the assumption that, well, you didn’t get it the first time so you are trying again. Email is tricky that way.

We have a huge and daily updated documentation site available at https://docs.gopostmatic.com. Users are welcome to search for past issues there.

    Best,
    Jason

Ok, well, documentation, FAQs, etc are good, but having the support history available is extremely valuable to a potential or current user. If you were to provide that as well, then I would say “A+”. Without it…”B-“. Just my opinion.
