    hi, in the featured ads documentation, it is written:

    You also need to update the Single Ad HTML template, as follows:

    Find the following in your Single Ad listings HTML:

    Change this

    <div class=”$awpcpdisplayaditems”></div>

    to this:

    <div class=”$awpcpdisplayaditems $isfeaturedclass”></div>

    can you please advise me on where to find the html template, cos i couldnt find it in the plugin edit page for css. Thanks a lot!

    Hi Joyce,

    Yes, please look for this under Classifieds->Settings, Ad/Listings tab. Under there, there are two HTML templates. One for List view, one for Single Ad view. Edit the Single ad view, per the instructions above.

    </div>
    $showadsense2
    <div class=”fixfloat”></div>
    <div id=”displayimagethumbswrapper”>
    <div id=”displayimagethumbs”>

      $awpcpshowadotherimages

    </div>
    </div>
    <span class=”fixfloat”>$tweetbtn $sharebtn $flagad</span>
    $awpcpadviews
    $showadsense3
    </div>

    Hi Joyce,

    My apologies, you need to change the LIST HTML template. Not the single ad one.

    Hi I think it has been changed automatic for me. Here is the List HTML template:

    <div class=”$awpcpdisplayaditems awpcp_featured_ad_wrapper”>
    <div style=”width:$imgblockwidth; padding:5px; float:left; margin-right:20px;”>
    $awpcp_image_name_srccode
    </div>
    <div style=”width:50%; padding:5px; float:left;”>
    <h4>$title_link</h4>
    $excerpt
    </div>
    <div style=”padding:5px; float:left;”>
    $awpcpadpostdate
    $awpcp_city_display
    $awpcp_state_display
    $awpcp_display_adviews
    $awpcp_display_price
    $awpcpextrafields
    </div>
    <span class=”fixfloat”></span>
    </div>
    <div class=”fixfloat”></div>

    Is this what is supposed to be after editing? However, when I logged in as a normal user(not admin), I couldnt find the option to pay for featured ads, when I tried to place an ad. Please advise thank you.

    Hi Joyce,

    OK, so there are two parts to Featured Ad configuration:
    1) Setup the template as above.
    2) Create (or change) one or more fee plans to have “featured ad pricing” which means that an ad purchased under these plans will be flagged as “featured”.

    You need to do the second step before people can pay for that. This is covered in the Featured Ads documentation here: https://awpcp.com/documentation/#premium-featured
