difficulty using, need help please!!

  • I’m having the biggest issue adding full width content beyond the content boxes. I can’t seem to figure out how to keep adding content like videos, pics, etc. I got as far as the content boxes and can’t scroll down any further. How can I keep adding content to the main page?

    Use a static front page and a posts page.

    Fixed, thank you. Next issue. I have a “read more” button on my posts on the front page. problem is, it shows almost the entire excerpt or blurb. So, whats the point of having a “read more” button when you can pretty much read it right there? Is there a way to deactivate the word count so it only shows maybe one line and then have to click for the rest of the content? Or, is there a way to just deactivate it and only leave the post tittle?

    When you edit your post, there is an excerpt meta-box.

    You can write your own excerpt, instead of letting WordPress auto-generate it for you.

    Write short excerpt, if you need it to be short.
