I just found out one of my posts got dugg!!! But I’m having a problem.

I have placed the code that is provided by Digg.com (https://www.digg.com/tools/integrate#1 – I am using “When the URL you wish dugg differs from…”) to place a Digg button on my post. When I goto the mainpage of my blog it says there are zero diggs, however there are six. When I goto the post’s own page it shows the correct amount of diggs. Does anyone know how to get this to work? I don’t like the plugins I’ve used, they all put a digg button on each post… that’s not what I want.

Take a look if you don’t understand exactly what I’m saying. The post I’m referring to is the most recent one, you’ll see.

I’ve also tried an if statement with PHP using &_SERVER[‘PHP_SELF’] but I don’t know PHP and WordPress doesn’t seem to allow PHP within the content of posts anyway. According to Digg.com this scrip of theirs should work in this situation.

Well… I’m not sure what happened… it works now. The only thing different I did was install a plugin that would make it possible to use PHP in WordPress posts. The plugin is called Exec-PHP. Other then that all I did was copy and paste a few different scripts into the post. After pasting the original Digg.com script back in it suddenly started working.

If anyone else has the same problem and it persists, see this page, it looks like it would have worked if I went through with it: https://www.ashbaughonline.com/2007/05/05/manually-adding-digg-button-to-wordpress-posts/
