Digg Digg Causing Blog Excerpt to be Shortened

Hey guys,

Love this plugin, but it’s causing some issues with our blog excerpt only showing 55 words (page: https://www.theclearingnw.com/blog/).

We deactivated plugins one-by-one, and Digg Digg was the cause.

Inside my functions.php, I have blog except as follows:
$excerpt_length = 215;

Any idea why Digg Digg is limiting the excerpt to the default 55 words?

Do you know of any changes I can make to the plugin to fix this?
