Digg Digg Email Shares not Showing up in ShareThis Analytics

    I’m using the Digg Digg floating bar with the Email button enabled, and I’m not getting any ShareThis stats for email shares.

    I’ve triple-checked that the ShareThis publisher ID under “Extra Integration” is there and correct.

    I sent a test email to myself, which arrived successfully, but this activity never showed up in ShareThis analytics, even after the 24 hours they instruct you to wait.

    Then I sent myself a test email using the ShareThis plugin, and that one tracked correctly in ShareThis analytics.

    Can someone from BufferApp please confirm that Digg Digg email shares are tracked by ShareThis analytics? I would assume so, since you ask for the ShareThis publisher ID in your plugin settings. Something seems off with the integration between Buffer / Digg Digg and ShareThis.

    Any idea what the problem could be? I’d like to be able to track email shares. Thanks.

    FYI, I get this message in Firebug’s Debug Info panel, even though I have already entered the ShareThis Publisher Key under “Extra Integration”:

    “Please specify a ShareThis Publisher Key
    For help, contact [email protected]”

    When I “View Source,” the Publisher key is there, so I don’t understand why I’m getting a debug message saying it’s not.

    Ex. stLight.options({publisher:XXXXXX….
