    Hi!

I’ve installed the plugin and one of the free themes. So far, I really like it.

One of my payment options is “Pay on Delivery”. And here is where the problem is:

1.) Customer adds a digital download to his/her cart
2.) Customer checks out with Pay on Delivery as option
3.) Customer can immediately download links via My Downloads, the Order page, and the email that is sent with the download links.

In other words — The customer can use this bug to get FREE downloads without actually paying for them.

HOW TO RESOLVE? Pay on Delivery orders are “Created” as their status. Is there a way to NOT show the customer the download links or send the download link email until after the order is marked as “Paid”, “Confirmed”, or “Delivered”? (Preferrably Paid). And maybe on the order section on the plugin page, where you can re-send the customer the order confirmation, add a button that says “Re-send digital download email”.

That way, when they send in the money for the order I can simply mark it paid and have the plugin send them the download links.

    Does this make sense?

Is there a fix for this already that I overlooked?

Is there a way to get it working now so I can make the site live?

    Thank you so very much!

    Ben

    Hello.
The best solution for you is to use payment module – not Pay on delivery, for example PayPal, or other – in this case customer will pay first to you and then – finish his order. But we will work to make it as you told: while order is not in Finished, Paid status – user can’t downlod his product. I just can’t tell you – when this development will be fihished.

    Regards,
    Alexey.

Thanks Alexey! In the meantime I will simply have to go in and edit the code that sends the download link and remove the My Downloads from the Account section.

I look forward to your updated version, and when it is updated, you’ve got a subscriber here ready to buy the other modules we need.

    Ben
