DigitalOcean tutorial on nginx cache

I installed this plugin after following this tutorial from DigitalOcean: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-setup-fastcgi-caching-with-nginx-on-your-vps
I would like to know if is that enough, or should i follow the tutorial from RTcamp: https://rtcamp.com/wordpress-nginx/tutorials/single-site/fastcgi-cache-with-purging/
