Direct Download Link for use on Download Cards

  • Hi,

    I have read through this entire forum, and all the documentation you provided and I feel like I am missing something obvious. I run a record label and we would like to host all our digital downloads ourselves and this plugin looks to provide that. My issue is that I do not understand how to get the direct link to function for someone holding a download card from one of our releases and entering the direct link URL.
    This is the provided example:
    https://yourwordpressblog.com/download/?yourcode=DOWNLOADCODEXYZ

    However its that last part the ?yourcode=DOWNLOADCODEXYZ that has me stumped. If any of you can help my dumb brain get this, that would be incredible!
