Direct link to portfolio category

Hello,
Is it possible to have a link directly to a Portfolio Category i wordpress Alpine theme? Category buttons are hover action JS. I don’t want to have link that provides me to the categories archive. I want to have a link to the actual portfolio page with that particular category open. Is it possible?
