    Hi there,

I’m trying to use the following URL/Link for my twitter with your plugin and it is not working, it accepts the URL but when I save the widget you cannot click on the Twitter social media button while visiting my website… Here is the URL format that is NOT working:

    https://www.twitter.com/intent/follow?screen_name=TwitterUserName

Can you please update/fix your plugin to work with this type of URL for Twitter?

    Thank you

    Hi,
I have tested this URL format with my twitter username and it works fine. It saves correctly in the widget and it displays correctly on the front end, and if I click on the twitter icon it follows the url correctly.

This is the link I used:

    https://www.twitter.com/intent/follow?screen_name=_lucymtc

Can you please provide the real link you are using?
    Thanks.

    Hi there,

I’ve updated to version 2.2 of the plugin and I am still getting the same issue with my Twitter button not being clickable. You can test for yourself at my site https://www.jiujitsuscience.com

The exact link that is configured for the Twitter button is this link:

    https://www.twitter.com/intent/follow?screen_name=JiuJitsuScience

Please let me know as I would really like to get this resolved and working properly ASAP.

    Thank you

Now that I look into this further it appears to be an issue with the clickable space for the position that my Twitter button is located, however all the other buttons are clickable over the entire area of the icons. The Twitter clickable space only located on the far bottom right-hand corner of the Twitter button and is not clickable over the entire space of the Twitter icon like all the other icons. This seems to be a bug of some kind, this may have to do with my page layout in my right side-bar. Do you know why the Widget in the side bar only allows the Twitter button to be clicked on the bottom right hand corner of the Twitter icon? It appears to work properly in the Widget that is located in my footer widget on the bottom left hand side of my webpages footer.

I’ve played around with adjusting the width of my right side bar where I am having this issue and this does not seem to make any difference.

Ok, just had a look at your site, the problem is not the width of the sidebar, the problem is the width of your main content (le left content), is to large and part of it is coming on top of your sidebar.

You can try to adjust the width of your main content so it wont be on top of the sidebar.

You could also play around with the z-index of the sidebar so it goes on top of the main content, but then you could come across with the same problem the other way round, so I suggest to fix the width of it first.
