Directories not displaying as intended

  • Hi,

    I’m using UM 2.1.5.

    I have setup several custom roles, i.e.:

    Member Type 1
    Member Type 2
    Member Type 3
    Membership Group 1
    Membership Group 2
    Membership Group 3

    I have a page that displays several small directories (between 1 and 8 members per directory).
    This page seems to work perfectly when I am NOT logged in. However, when I login (using my standard account, not an Admin account), either the directories do not display, or the directory is ignored and it displays all members.

    I have configured the User Roles with Priorities in the following fashion:

    Subscriber, Priority 40, Can edit their profile: yes, can view other members profiles: yes, can view these user roles only: Membership Group 1, Membership Group 2.

    Member Type 1, Priority 60, Can edit their profile: yes, can view other members profiles: yes, can view these user roles only: Membership Group 1, Membership Group 2.

    All other roles are standard, i.e. no priority no customisations.

    My standard account is: Subscriber, Member Type 1, Membership Group 1, Membership Group 2.

    Do you have any ideas as to what might be going on?

    Did you add multiple UM Directories in a single page? Could you please provide a video clip so we can see the issue clearly?

    Many thanks for your quick reply!
    I have just taken screen videos of the front facing web pages that the directories are on (yes, multiple directories on a single page).
    One shows them loading when I’m logged out, and displaying as intended. The next shows the directories not loading when I’m logged in.

    Is this what you meant? If so, please can I have an e-mail address to share the links privately?

    Champ Camba, please reply to my topics. Ultimate member cannot display directories properly on my site. Please spare some time to assist me, I notice a lot of members are having issues to on user directories, not displaying/filters not working.

    Hi I also have an issue with directories, I’m looking frantically around the forum to see if there’s any other case / anyone with a fix because it’s going to set my site opening back badly if I can’t get it fixed.

    My issue with the member directory (which i posted here) is that the search doesn’t show any results since the update I just get the nothing found message although the settings are correct, and also the filters don’t seem to appear as they should now.

    Did anyone manage to find any kind of fix? I haven’t yet but I’ll come back and post if I do in case it’s of use…
