Directorist is NOT GDPR compliant

    I invested a lot of time creating a website using Directorist and in the end I realized that it’s NOT GDPR compliant. According to GDPR it’s crucial to have a checkbox for agreeing and linking to privacy policy before submitting a comment for a listing. It’s simply NOT POSSIBLE! Please evaluate this plugin before buying! And if you don’t want to risk fines in your country like in EU then don’t buy it!

However, the specific rules you mentioned were recently announced. While we initially planned to address the GDPR issue in Directorist version 8.0, we are actively working on resolving this matter in our upcoming update.
