First off let me say thank you for this application..It is amazing and as you have said..all you need

Of note..i did have nfw installed before on this server/acct..Today I changed the name of the account to a different domain..

    anyway

I get this error during NFW setup

Your WordPress directory (/home/clarks/public_html/eb/) is different from your website document root (/home/clarksto/public_html/). Because it is possible to install WordPress into a subdirectory, but have the blog exist in the site root, NinjaFirewall needs to know the exact location of the site root.

Please edit the path below only if you have manually modified your WordPress root directory as described in the Giving WordPress Its Own Directory article.

    there is nothing in /home/clarks/public_html

only one wp installation in /home/clarks/public_html/eb

mydomain.com/eb is in both places the general settings page

    thanks

ok..NFW installed fine in a different directory so must be that i changed domain name and installed it on the new domain but in a directory with same name
    like
    https://www.xyz.com/eb original
https://www.zyx.com/eb new one that won’t install

Even though it was not installed on the new wp install i was getting notifications re: console logins

This message is normal: when NinjaFirewall detects that the website document root ($_SERVER[‘DOCUMENT_ROOT’]) and WordPress directory (ABSPATH) are different if will offer the possibility to adjust the path. Most of the time, there is no need to make any change, but in a few cases, it may need to be edited.

Maybe the directory name contained a trailing space?

Anyway, if it is working now that’s a good thing!
