    Hi @carlbtmn,

    Thank you for your interest.

Disabling anonymous users and therefore only allowing logged in users to like is not trivial and will require some coding.
This is actual on our list for a possible paid extension.

    Kind regards,

    I understand.

What I’m noticing are random likes from anonymous users and I don’t know if they are real or bots, because the site is not even known to the public.

    Hi again,

    > I understand.

I see. You could install an analytics tool and see if you have any sessions. If you do get traffic on the site it could actually be that the likes are genuine.

I did and they are not genuine. I had to hide the like button for non-logged-in users. You think this feature can be added relative quickly? The best scenario would be to show the like button with the count and if someone tries to like the post and is not logged-in, to re-direct them to the login page or any custom URL.

I would say it is a medium sized task, but we have little interest in developing it since Solid Post Likes is still quite small.
Would you be interested in commissioning it? We can prepare a quote for you if you like.

I would be interested. Do you have an email where we can continue this conversation?

    Thank you.

    Hi again,

I’m going to mark this as resolved for now – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Kind regards,
