Disable auto-insert to place somewhere else with shortcode

    Hi! I’m trying to place the like button in a specific position using the shortcode provided, [jlad].

    However, there’s no way (I guess?) to disable the auto-inserted button, so I end up having two like buttons. Is there a way to keep likes in a post type enabled, but hide its auto-inserted like button?

    Disabling a post types does what you want I think, it does not display the like buttons on that post type so you can use the shortcode instead.

    Oh, neat! I thought disabling a post type made it unable to get likes.
