    I’m trying to get the Facebook Customer Chat plugin on my site to only open when clicked on.

    I don’t want it to open when the site loads and ask them if they need help or get them to sign in as it’s distracting.

    I have tried putting

    greeting_dialog_display=’hide’

    into the PHP file on my cpanel but it doesn’t seem to have the same code as the examples in the forum.

    Does anyone know how to achieve this?

    I’ve been on this for 2 days so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    J

    Hi Jake,

    It looks like you’ve solved this, as it seems to be working fine. Can confirm chat loads minimised, and opens when clicked ????

    All the best,

    Tim

    Hi guys, thank you so much taking the time to answer.

    Yes I just checked and it is working now (whoop!).

    It seems to have taken about a day to actually start working on all browsers, hence my confusion.

    For anyone reading this in the future, the code takes a little while to start working so don’t expect instant results!

    Thanks again

    J
