When i assign a user the status of AUTHOR (or higher) it is possible to add media.
Is it possible to make the media library NON-accessable for authors and higher non-admins?

Anyone solved this with some piece of code?

I only want them to be able to upload images and docs.

    Glad to help:

    1) “Is it possible to make the media library NON-accessable for authors and higher non-admins?”

WordPress automatically adds the “Add Media” button to the RTE/Visual Editor for all Author roles and better. The only way to disable it is to not use the RTE/Visual Editor, and just use the plain textarea instead.

    2) “Anyone solved this with some piece of code?”

There may indeed be a solution out there somewhere, but as of yet I have not found it.

I hope this helps, let me know if I can provide any further infos.
