    Hello,
Is there a way, using this plugin, to disable the cache of the video?

I found this Q/A in StackOverflow, yet not sure how to implement this on the plugin.

The reason is that, apparently, the video is getting cached.
The videos we upload change every 15 minutes.

When we go check out the video on the browser (inside WordPress, running this plugin), it doesn’t show the video.
It has only the player-controls bar, yet not video.

If I then take the video’s URL (.mp4), and drop it into the browser, the browser plays it fine via html5.

Any idea what I can do?
    Thank you!

Are you talking about browser cache?

The answer from Stackoverflow is for Flowplayer Flash it does apply to the HTML5 version. The default option stops preloading of the video.

Why is the video changing every 15 minutes? Please could you share an example page?

    Hello Ulrich,
I will upload an example page in a couple of minutes.

The video changes every 15 minutes because it is webcam.
The webcam saves the video, then uploads it (60 seconds) every 15 minutes.

Will upload the url for an example page asap!

    Hello again,

    Here is an example page:

And here is a direct link to the .mp4 video, which works fine (loaded via the browser’s html5 player?):

Any idea what is going on?

It works for me. I was able to view the video without any issue and once the new video was up I was able to view that too. It was a bit difficult to tell the difference between the two.

What browser and operating system are you using?

For these tests I am using an Ubuntu 14.04 machine, and tested in Chromium and FireFox.

    Odd!

Will try once more and report back.

Were you able to test it?
