Disable comment notifications for contributors and authors

  • Hi,

    Just as the title suggests, I’d like to stop my website’s contributors and authors getting emailed whenever there’s a comment.

    Seems silly to notify the contributors when the comment is just spam, so ideally they could receive a notification once the comment is approved and published. But if that’s too much to ask then I’m happy for a solution that sees only the administrator receive the notifications.

    I am trying to do the exact same thing. I am running a blog with multiple authors/contributors but i do not want them to receive notifications when comments are made on their posts.

    If you have found a simple solution then please can you share it with me?
