disable comments for a page

  • Hi, i have a ‘contact’ page and i dont want people to be able to post comments in it. i dont mind commenting on regular posts but not pages. is this possible?

  • Just turn it off in the Write Page in the right panel under ‘Discussion’.

    Just unmark the box Comments in Discussion in the edit page,

    oh how simple! thanks guys!

    Maybe I’m using a different version of WP, but there is no option like that in my dashboard. The closest thing was the box that says “Allow people to post comments on the article” but when I uncheck it, nothing changes. Any suggestions?
