    Hello everyone,

is it possible to disable the feature “click-to-call” (add also click-to-email) on the contact information?
Now (by default), only name is displayed, the phone number is hidden behind “click-to-call” phone icon. We would like to have the option to actually see the numbers, click-to-call is not necessary. Is this possible?
    Thanks in advance.
    BR,
    Simon

I could have sworn we had a similar question a while back, but I am not able to find it in the forum.

Let me do some research and get back to you.

    Hi @aaslovenija,

I’ve looked at this closer and I think you’re talking about being able to display the specific contact information for a person without having click-to-call?

The approach taken by the plugin is to allow for a public phone number and email for the meeting or group without having a person tied to that. This is to support the tradition of anonymity.

We also have a way to manage contact information for specific people, but choose to keep that private by default, also for the sake of anonymity. That setting, as you realize, can be make public which then displays the person’s name and the click-to-call/click-to-email buttons. These buttons aim to help protect some level of the person’s privacy from automated web crawlers/tools. In general, I suggest using these settings as designed.

We do not currently have a documented way of changing this. If you feel it is desired to display more than one public contact email/phone number, please visit our developer website and create a new feature request issue.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for replies.
Yes I know and understand the tradition of anynymity, of course.
Some our members have no problem beeing published by name and phone number.
I made a workaround by publishing desired contacs in some other fields for example in notes.
    Thank you anyway.
