Markup.io is a great tool to do website annotations when working with a client. That means, I can add pins on every page of the site.

The client can navigate through the site and comment (add a pin) wherever he likes. I then can navigate through it and comment.

However, when CookieYes is active, the cookie banner will show up every single time when a new page is loaded within Markup.

That means, I must switch in MarkUp from comment-mode to browse-mode, to click the button to give consent, otherwise I would annotate the cookie banner itself.

Can I just somehow disable CookieYes only for that service?

I am sure MarkUp can provide the IP addresses, I just not to blacklist those somehow.

    Thanks in advance
    Markus

    Hello @cookieyesteam

sorry, I missed your reply. This has nothing to do with any individual site.

    I only explained the context.

My question is, can I disable CookieYes for specific IP addresses? This would allow me to disable it for a service like MarkUp.io. It’s impossible to work with MarkUp.io and do annotations, when the CookieYes Banner pops up all the time.

However, on a live site, I can’t disable it.

    best regards
    Markus

    Hi @markussss,

We don’t have any feature to disable based on IP addresses. But we could check for another solution if you can provide your site URL where you have set up the MarkUp.io services. You can either share it in this thread or share it privately via this link.
