disable cron sheduler

  • hi,
    i indent to disable cron scheduler and use sitground scheduler.
    does this affect the plugin, do i have to schedule a job to new scheduler?

    Hi @ppokopiou, thanks for getting in touch.

    WordPress’ wp-cron.php file is executed, by design, every time someone loads a page on your site and runs if there’s anything to be done. I suspect you’re going to disable that way of running as highlighted in this Siteground documentation.

    As long as you’re just changing how the wp-cron file is called and not changing any of the scheduled cron jobs themselves then Wordfence should be unaffected.
